Striding forth from the deck of the ship is a man dressed in travel stained, yet prosperous attire, over which a breastplate is worn with a shield strapped to his back and a sword hanging from his hip. Emblazoned on the breastplate is the image of a chimera. His piercing blue eyes take in his surroundings before he takes his final steps onto dry land.
"Well, this shall be interesting. I hope Vareth is waiting around here somewhere."
With those quite words to himself, he begins to look for his adviser, and companion. Heading towards the sounds of people, he makes his way into the local tavern in the hopes of finding his friend.

"Renarin! Err, my lord!"
With a smile on his face Vareth walks over to Renarin and claps him on the back, then leading him to the bar.
"Reginald, my Lord Renarin. My lord, Reginald. Might he have a drink? Wine if you could."

Renarin smiles at Vareth as he guides him towards the bar. He nods his head in a polite acknowledgement of the introduction.
"Greetings, it is a pleasure to meet you. I would very much like some wine if it wouldn't cause too much hassle. I know my throat is parched after such a long voyage. It craves the taste of something pleasant and delectable."

Reginald bows slightly to the new face.
"Everything but water is three silver, and some of the finest wine in Hevard Port can be yours. Fine berry wine made by elves? I've got some harsher wine crafted in the capital city, if you like the kick."

Renarin nods his head in acknowledgement.
"Is it possible to open a tab with you? I believe that I will be coming here often enough to warrant such. If I can, then I would appreciate a white wine from the capital. I have always found their vintages to be crisp and refreshing."

"As long as it is paid by the end of our next duty weekend with the militia. I see little problem with it. Not paying it by then will result in interest on the account. And, yes I do have some white."

Ciaran walked back into the bar and sat down where he was before, letting out a small sigh before taking notice of the Renarin, "Oy, another new guy? Seems like things are pickin up around here, eh Regi?"

After a while and Reginald is no longer busy, Vareth asks him,
"So we talked about what ZIMM is, what about this other thing, you mentioned, the Aelorn? Or is this one an actual person?"

After Reginald returns from a side room.
"ZIMM is a special circumstance. I'm not a mage, therefore I don't want to mix up explaining what he is to you. But...construct?....seems right. I'll see that you meet him soon. Aelorn can be found near the trade hall. He's Lord Gavreck's mage, advisor, and friend. His offices are near the trade hall, and he's brisk but typically welcomes mages eventually. Or you can seek him out."

Vareth gives a nod of gratitude and stands.
"No time like the present."
He gives a wave and heads off to the trade hall.
