From the militia HQ

[Arianna]

*Arianna can be seen skipping from the Militia HQ to the Raven's Nest. She takes a seat at the bar, smiling as she does so.*

"Any new news Reggie?"

[Reginald]

Reggie smiles at the halfling.

"Not at the moment, though I expect we'll be having some soon. News always pop up last minute. Drink?"

[Arianna]

*Arianna grins*
"Well, I've been thinking, and I think I've finalized my spell pricing up until I finish my training and I'm able to heal. Can I get some of that fruity stuff please?"

[Reginald]

"it's ironic that I've never actually charged anyone for healing, and you a follower of Bebei charge." He produces a fruit punch drink from behind the bar, slightly chilled.

[Arianna]

"Which is why my new price is free now that I can actually go out and fight." *Arianna smiles happily*"Thanks!" she says taking the drink.

[Reginald]

Reggie shakes his head.

"Good, because many were gonna stop paying you. It was unfair that your life was'nt in danger, yet you price gouged us for buffing magics. Several people expressed disdain and contempt for that.'

[Arianna]

"Reggie, I'm sorry to disagree with you. I know my prices were high when I worked for the Trade Hall, but they set my prices at that time, not me. I only started charging in the first place because I wasn't getting fair share of the loot because some people were stealing from it."

[Reginald]

"You weren't getting a share, because you weren't there. And no one steals from the loot, that's a vicious rumor, that should be put to rest right now. One time the loot went missing, and I'm fairly certain I know who did that. But opinion is not evidence, or cause to go after them."

[Arianna]

"Really? Because I think that 'skimming off the top' is stealing and Sam flat out said he was doing it right after he told me that he saw two others were doing it. Not to mention, I was told I would get fair share for buffing people as if I was there."
*Arianna's cheeks grow slightly red*
"Also do you know what I did with all that money that I was supposedly 'gouging' from people? I used it to help town, and I've been put down about it ever sense."

[Reginald]

Reginald never raises his voice. His cheeks never change color.

"We all use our money to better town. Sam's pulling tricks on you dear. Did you actually see it happen? You, jumped the gun on buying that book. The gold you spent on that then could have been better used else where at the time. It could you still be better used else where, and do not confuse me trying to educate you to be more responsible with your funds with downtalking you. I'm trying to help you, not be little you. Money comes and goes, we could have spent that gold on more productive means, made it and more back, then paid for the book."

[Arianna]

*Arianna sighs*
"You're right, I could have used that money toward my mage's guild idea. However we then wouldn't know what our surrounding area looked like, and we wouldn't be able to buy more books from ZIMM. I would rather have him as an ally than leave him thinking that we are all home wreckers. Also, nobody asked me beforehand to use my money for something else, if they would have, I would have considered it. Oh well, I guess that's just the way things are. I wonder why Sam would say he was stealing tho, that's what gets me."

[Reginald]

"ZIMM's wasn't going anywhere. As for Sam, who knows, maybe he wanted you to blow up an embaress yourself. Never take anyone else's word when it comes to things like that. if you see it with your own eyes it's real, if you listen to someone else it's hearsay. I'll advise you from now on, if you want, i know a bit about money. According to my actions all I've ever done is keep you all alive, and expected a FAIR share of the profits. We could have garenteed enchantments for all of us with the money you spent on that books, and if we all die fighting Toth that book won't mean a darn thing. Look at it that way. But, we'll make it back and then some, if we work together.'

[Vareth Nar]

Vareth walks in on the end of the conversation, seating himself at the bar.

"Enchantments? I would be happy to help with that, if it is needed."

[Arianna]

"True, but with the map we also have more of a chance to find places and make money that way. Also, if he wanted me to embarrass myself, I do a good enough job of that on my own." *Arianna smiles and giggles a little and then turns to Vareth* "Enchantments are my spell specialty, and I just recently learned how to first aid, so while I may not be very adept in combat, I'll at least be able to help in some way. I can't wait to start and finish my training. Being able to heal will be of some help, also I think I'll be able to learn how to cure people. I know Reggie and Fraya are both much better in combat than me, so that will free them up some. Plus, you can't really have too many healers in a town."
