Alyssa rises obviously thinks about grabbing a weapon, struggles with that thought for a few moments, than meets Reggie near the way to the private rooms; unarmed. Humming a soft tune the whole time.

*Arianna's voice can be heard very clearly in a yell from Tyree's room* "Don't bring up my son again!"

*Arianna can be seen walking back down the hall. When she gets to the main area, she sits at an empty table close to the group.*

"If it's not a problem, can someone please catch me up on the conversation?"

Renarin continues to listen to the banter back and forth, then clears his throat getting ready to speak.
"It seems we are all planning reactive tactics, what can we do proactively to defeat this abomination? We seem to only be focusing on his means of escape but what will lure him to us and what weaknesses does he possess?"

"Maybe the answer lies in what he is. I remember being told that if a progenator of Life came near, that we'd explode because our bodies can't take that amount of healing. Maybe he is the same way, just with death. Maybe in killing all the goblins around him, he will basically implode because of all of the death and sudden increase in power."

"I wasn't thinking to just make him stronger. Make him much stronger very fast. The body he is in is still mortal, and maybe that will kill him."

"it is an idea. but the body isn't the threat, the thing possessing it is."

Aelorn responds to Renarin, "We are focusing on trapping him, because without that piece of the puzzle, defeating him is impossible. Luring him is a non-issue. He has approached us numerous times in battle. He will again. As for weaknesses, we know little. He cannot escape without a path of shadow by which to travel, and it seems the goblin bane sword is more effective than other weapons against him. According to some reports, resurrecting near him seems to make him ill. This is all we know."
He then turns to Arianna, "The progenitor of life would make us explode with life if it came near. If we were fighting a swarm of death progenitors, which is supposedly their normal state, they would just cover us like a blanket and destroy us instantly. Progenitors are not us. Toth being a solitary death progenitor is all that makes him even conceivably defeat-able. I would not attempt what you suggest. At the least it would empower him immensely, at worst, it might cause him to spontaneously reproduce. I don't know."

Renarin nods at Aelorn's response.
"The goblin blade, will it be used by someone during the upcoming battle? Every edge we can get will make the chance of successful greater. Do you have any other theories on what will help us defeat this creature?"

"Bravery, sacrifice, and not a small amount of help from whichever gods you worship." Aelorn responds to the armored elf.

"If resurrecting near him makes him ill... I wonder what a spell that resurrects would do." *Arianna thinks for a moment* "What about spells that extend life?"

"So how can we cut off his path to shadows? That's the most important question. A bait less trap we can spring on him where he is or where we are. Something we can move with us, bring with us, and is one and done so to speak. Something he won't see coming. The only important thing is to cut off his access to shadows. It can not be based on the location, because we don't have control over that, it can't be based on an elaborate set up, it has to be simple. And it has to be something we have access to here in this town. Start with those guidelines and see what we can come up with."
